How many times in your life can you say you have LITERALLY been in a cloud!? We can now honestly answer, once!
Let me just start out by saying that we {and by we, I mean me, Sarah} are not hikers. A few things in my life that I enjoy include, donuts, ice cream, coffee, watching movies, and not working out. But I DO enjoy a good view and God's beautiful creation, so when Daniel and Kristen asked about doing their session on top of Sharp Top, we said ABSOLUTELY! Doing an engagement session on top of a mountain was a bucket list session for me so, I was all about it!
At first we were planning on taking the shuttle to the top to save on some time {and sweat!} but at the last minute our driver backed out, so I put on my big girl shoes and up the mountain we went!
We had SO much fun on the way up! It took us around an hour and a half to get up and we chatted the entire way! By the time we made it back down we were pretty much BFF's with Kirsten and Daniel! When we arrived at the top, we were greeted by the most breathtaking view! We had been up there only a few minutes when we spotted a massive white cloud role in! We could feel the cool mist passing over us. It was an almost magical experience! We did get maybe a three minute break from this cloud where we could see the view, but we were still super excited about how these pictures turned out! I doubt we will ever be able to shoot IN A CLOUD ever again!
Daniel and Kristen, we LOVE YOU GUYS! We are so thankful that you chose us to photograph your wedding! We are so thankful for the time we had getting to know you and hearing your stories. We already feel such a great friendship with you guys and we can't wait to be a part of this journey with you and watch where the Lord takes you in your life. We hope you love your pictures as much as we do!
